(More customer reviews)I picked up a couple of these since my computer case has a horizontal fan on the top of the case, and I burned through several cheaper sleeve bearing case fans (something about sleeve bearing design makes them only work well for vertical mounting, I discovered). I settled on this model after shopping around all the rifle bearing and fluid bearing fan options, and this one was the ideal combination of airflow (47.5 CFM) and noise level (27.6 dBA) for my needs. I was not disappointed! The sound level is not entirely inaudible, but it's a very low level -- low enough that I run my computer in my bedroom and it doesn't bother me at all.
The fans each come with 4 new mounting screws (none of that silicon pin nonsense) which make installation dirt simple. They also come with a 3-pin to 4-pin adapter, which came in handy for me since my motherboard alone did not have enough power available to run all my fans (heh!). The adapter still allows you to connect to your motherboard's 3-pin prongs in order to allow the motherboard to control the fan speed even though the power is being supplied by the 4-pin molex connection.
These fans are a wee bit pricier than what I'm used to, but they are also higher quality than what I'm used to, and I feel it was worth every penny.

The Kama Flow 2 120mm x 25mm Fan is equipped with Extra Fluid Dynamic Bearings (EX-FDB), making it a very quiet fan. EX-FDB comes with a group of "V" shaped grooves to achieve micron level thickness of oil lubrication in between the shafts housing for higher level of long life and silence. The number of grooves build-in to the shaft works to centralize the shaft and also to prevent leakage by controlling high pressure fluid motion.
