Prior to owning my Sony, I had a no-name CRT.I noticed that after about and hour in front of the screen, my eyes would start to tear and I would have a hard time focusing and reading fine print. But when my ancient computer bit the dust last week, my new PC came bundled with the Sony LCD monitor and I immediately noticed an improvement. The print and colors are sharp and have good contrast. I am experiencing no eye fatigue and I enjoy the extra space on my desk due to this monitor's intelligent design. Setup is a cinch. The brightness control is a model of simplicity - push the clearly marked button and watch the choices pop up.It took, literal, 10 seconds.
I admit to being a Sony fan and I own a lot of their products. They represent rock solid value and their service has always been good. While they may not always be the lowest price option out there, the quality sells it for me nearly every time.
If you spend a lot of time in front of a computer screen to do your job (I'm good for 8 hours a day), consider an upgrade to a Sony. I did and I'm happy with the decision.
