(More customer reviews)I found this bracket to be easy to install. You simply mount the top bracket to the underside of your desk or table and then the rest of the mounting assembly goes together very easily.

It acts much like a hanging drawer for your computer. It rotates both horizontally and vertically (to some degree) so you can turn it sideways for easier access the back of your computer. The fact that it slides along the upper bracket makes it easy to push out of the way of your knees as needed.

The metal is very heavy duty. It could handle a 100 lb computer. Seems a little overdone, but I have no complaint.

It is not designed to mount to the side of your desk. However, that's exactly what I needed to do to one of my desks where there was not sufficient space to mount it under the desk. For a side mount application, it still works well, but I had to put a small spacer to hold the computer and bracket away from the side of the desk so that it would hang vertically straight and not scratch the side of the desk as I slid it in and out.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this based upon all the great reviews, as I really wanted to get my PC off the floor.It was easy to install so no problems there.But when I set the PC in the "L" shaped shelf, the weight of the PC caused the whole "L" bracket to lean at an angle.So although it does hold the PC off the floor, it really looks bad (like cr*p)as the bracket cannot hold the PC straight up and down... but rather crooked at about 15 degrees.There are a couple screws that hold the "L" bracket to the desk mount (the top part you see in the picture). Unfortunately the design of these screw holes are too close together to have leverage and to keep the bracket straight... no matter how hard you tighten them.I am going to buy a strap to wrap around the PC and attach to the mount; hopefully that will pull the PC vertical so it looks better.Otherwise, I'll remove it and buy a different mount or just go back to the floor and forget the whole idea.I have an IBM x205 stock, no frills.Maybe it's heavier than other PCs, but Com'on!This was a waste of money!

(More customer reviews)It took me quite a while to go through all of the stands listed here.I finally picked this one because it was metal, which meant it wasn't going to be flimsy; it was fully adjustable so it would fit my case snuggly enough to have a good grip; and it looked like it was wide enough to not be tippy.There are many comments for this stand that talked about the wingnuts not threading on easily.The problem is that the manufacturer paints the parts with the bolts in place, and the paint gets on the threads.There is really nothing wrong with the threading itself.Two of the four of mine went on just fine while the other two were a tight fit.It was a simple matter of gripping the wingnut with a pair of pliers and screwing the nuts on until they get really tight then backing them off a bit to clear the threads then screwing it back down again.Repeat this until you get them all the way down.It really wasn't a big deal.That aside, it works great, holds my case well, and rolls easily even on my carpet.I'd definately recommend it.
