I would not have purchased any other brand of monitor, unseen, for this $172 price...but traditionally Dell has made top notch monitors.17" is sufficient for most office use and the clarity/functionality of this has not let me done in the 5 months since purchase.I'm always leary of Dell's proprietary computer configurations, but as monitor manufacturers, I have no complaints.Wish that I could convince my office to 'stock up' on this one--it's a bargain.
