(More customer reviews)I was building my Home Theater PC for my Living room. I decided to go AMD this time instead of my other Intel Based PCs.
This is by far the most stable memories for AMD motherboards. I run them at stock 1333Mhz speed. So far It didn't crash or BSOD for about 3 months of continuous power on and S3 Sleep. For non-Geeks, S3 Sleep is shut everything but memories, so when you wake up the pc, it is same as you left it and it boots virtually instantly.
I have not tried to overclock these and do not intend to. I can't comment the performance in Intel
The heat sink maintains the memory at warm temperature which is good (not finger burning like other designs) and if the airflow is bad in your case, this kit comes with a Cooler Fan that attaches to the memories, 4-slot wide clips.
Price is Good, not expensive nor cheap. I use the corsair dominator GT in my other PCs and have not had any problems with Corsair memory products yet.
In Windows Experience Index. It gets a 7.5 score out of 7.9 which is amazing.
Not super HTPC by the way: AMD 1055T + Gygabyte 890GX + 2TB HDD and onboard Ati HDxxxx
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
