(More customer reviews)I bought my first system for $24 shipped about a year ago to replace my dead KLH stereo system that I had been using for my PC sound.I had high hopes, but was prepared for mediocrity.It took all of 3 minutes to put the system together and fire up my first song from my PC.I chose 'Blue Monday' by New Order, because it is very complex, with lots of odd percussion from all directions and a strong backbeat and lots of synthesizers (OK-I'm a child of the 80s!)It absolutely blew my mind.I use WinAmp to play my mp3s on the PC, so I went to its equalizer and tweaked it a bit and played the song again and, my God, it sounded even better.I've played almost every type of music, and movies, music vids and my own experimental creations and find it to be beyond my wildest dreams for a system costing less than hundreds of dollars. And it is so compact that you can pack it up and take it with you in a minute.I bought another one the next time a deal came up, either to use as a back-up, or a gift to a very, very lucky friend, indeed!!!!!
If you can, tweak that equalizer- it can be amazing!!!
