(More customer reviews)I noticed this lcd monitor one morning at Best Buy and almost laughed it off. It looked a little strange next to the lg flatron monitors - It seemed as though Sony wasn't looking for the sleek / thin approach to lcd monitors. But after looking at serveral other brands and models at the store, I quickly noticed a huge difference in the screen of the Sony. First of all, I counted ZERO dead pixels. A few of the other models including the Westinghouse had 6+! Sony's X-Brite Technology is astonishing! While the lcd appears glossy, or "glary" once the monitor is turned on, it quickly dissapates providing a very crisp and bright display. Dispite Sony's attack at a more modern apperance, I was so pleased that i decided to purchase the HS75P/S. It truly is an amazing monitor and performs outstandingly! 17 inches is plently for surfing the web, games etc. And with this price - you can't go wrong! - Lance
