(More customer reviews)I found that this product made networking between 2 computers very easy.I set up and had the network running in less than 30 minutes from the time I opened the box.This is a great product but my only complaint is thespeed. I wish it were 10 mbps, which this one is only 1.

(More customer reviews)I got this adapter for my older laptop that does not have a built in "N" card. It was easy to install with Vista OS, real plug and play. Once installed, it was able to see almost all networks in my area, and connected easily to my network. I moved my laptop around the house, out to the backyard, no problems. All in all, it is a nice addition to older machines.
Pros: Driver is already stored on the adapter and installs automatically when you plug it in.
Quick and easy installation, plug it in, and in a few munities you're done.
Received signal thru walls, and far from the modem.
Speed is about average both up and down stream.
Cons: Too large and unsuitable for laptops, will block the adjacent USB port unless you use the USB extension cable.
Will not work with Mac.
As other reviewers noted, the package is hard to open, environmentally unfriendly, and too large. I wish they packed it in a small box.
