(More customer reviews)The 1GB ram card made a state of the art PC out of my sluggish 7 year old Dell Dimension 4550.

My machine came with only 250mb of ram... so after Virus Scan, Itunes, Microsoft Money, Flash Player, and IE8 the performance was most of the time horrible. I'd run one app at a time if I was lucky enough not to freeze up the system.

All it took was 15 minutes and $50 to slap in the 1GB Kingston ram card.No tools no Geek Squad...easy peasy lemon squeezy.Now the machine is screaming fast and can handle multiple apps.Surfing the internet while virus scan updates in the background...what a notion!!I'm excited to get more years of service out of my Dell Dimension 4550.
