(More customer reviews)Really for the price it is hard to beat this monitor stand.It is excellent quality and comes with everything you need to mount it to a desk.I have a pair of 26" Asus LCD's hanging from it.They are rock stable and in perfect adjustment.

All that said, the reason for 4 stars is that you need a really sturdy desk.Your average particle board desktop may allow a good bit of flex if you mount of a big pair of monitors.I had to augment the setup by pairing the clamp with a pair of aluminum plates that distribute the load across a larger area.Without them the monitors wobbled a good bit when you bumped the desk and I believe there was actually some risk of cracking the desktop.It would be nice if their base clamp was larger or came with such an adapter to suit a larger range of desk surfaces.

Otherwise, it is a fantastic product and if you are mounting it to a surface that is really substantial, I would not hesitate.

(More customer reviews)As a professsional speaker I've seen hundreds of screens over the past 25 years and this one really stands out. It is everything you could hope for and more. I love the design. It sets up fast, is easy to open and is just the right size for a living room or a medium size (up to 35 people) business meeting. I can't believe the price! I thought it was a good value at the original $250 price and now Amazon has it for under $85. If you need a protable screen, this is a great choice. Since it opens horizontally it is much shorter than other screens of this size. I am considering upgrading my projector now to show movies on tis screen instead of my old 27" TV.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this as a lap top dual screen display hooked to a Telescope taking astronomy pictures.The photo's are viewed here while I do other things with the computer.The low profile fold-up capabilty is unique and perfect for my limited transport and storage needs.The construction is better than I expected and the USB power needs fit my application (AC power is not abundant where I set up telescopes).The picture quality is equivalant to what I get on my lap top and hook up was straight forward on VISTA.The USB cable is not an issue.A dual-port USB came with the monitor but that was too bulky (and long).I replaced it with an old Olympus digital camera single port USB that had the same connector (but much shorter) and it works fine.So far (one month) the UM-71OS has done exactly what I had hoped for.There are no "CON's".The price is well worth the unique features (fold up, USB power, and rotational screen).I would and have recommended it to friends and associates.
