(More customer reviews)This remote works with any Mac with built in Front Row or with any iPod through use with the accompanying iPod universal dock. I"m surprised by all the nay-sayers because they aredocking the remote points for features that it wasn't designed or isn't advertised to do. That doesn't seem fair.

If you're looking for a backup or replacement remote for your Front Row equipped Mac, this remote is the only choice. If you're looking to control the song selection, fast forward or rewind or pause, or change the volume on your iPod, then this remote is for you too. It does not have the ability to change playlists or return to the iPod main menu, but if you're using your iPod from afar and need a remote, it's not like you'd be able to see what your screen says anyway. If you're looking for that added functionality, then there are other more expensive iPod remotes on the market.

I use this remote the time with my video iPod when attached to my TV to play, fast forward, pause and rewind video content. I knew it's limitations when I bought it, and I'm not at all disappointed because it works just as it's supposed to.

Also, keep in mind that Apple can always add additional functionality through a software update to the iPod as they have done many times in the past.

I replaced a cheap 2.1 set of speakers, and this sub-woofer is much better sounding than what I had before.Of course you could get even better sound by spending a lot more money, but I believe these are a very good value.

Remember you might need to reconfigure Windows and/or your BIOS and/or your Sound Card for a 5.1 speaker setup.When you are properly setup, you do NOT need to turn on the "Matrix" feature.That is only needed when you connect it to a simple stereo source like a video game console.Your computer will "upgrade" your stereo music to a 5.1 signal when configured correctly, so like I said, you can leave the Matrix button turned off when connected to your computer.

The only negative, as others have shared, is the CABLES ARE SHORT.Add $15 to the price to include a trip to Radio Shack for some RCA extension cables.

I am stilling giving this a 5-start rating, since I knew about the cable length issue before I bought it.

(More customer reviews)The case is great.It has a lot of nice details such as rubber pads to absorb vibration and a mounting system for hard drives that isolates them on soft bushings to minimize drive noise.Ventalation

The power supplu is mounted upside down in a separate compartment from the motherboard.There is an extension for the 24 pin power cable, but the P4 cable might be a problem.I would buy a p4 cable extension or Molex to p4 cable with this case, unless you are sure that your cables will reach.

The VFD loks kind of cheap and the remote looks and feels cheap.The Soundgraph iMon software that drives it is limited.I would consider buying the non-VFD version and a different VFD.

Windows 7 Vista XP Media Center MCE PC Remote Control and Infrared Receiver for Home, Premium and Ultimate Edition Review

(More customer reviews)So I bought this remote with the intent of only using it's IR receiver and programming my Harmony one to control Windows 7 Media Center 64 bit. I found out, however, that the remote isn't in logitech's remote database, and also doesn't seem to use the generic microsoft codes that most remotes use. I therefore had to manually "teach" the harmony my remote's codes in RAW format. The problem with this is that this method caused significant lag and delay that I couldn't fix with inter-device and inter-key delays/repeats in Logitech's manual setup. After an afternoon on the phone with logitech level 2 support, I was finally able to remove the lag/delay and get my remote functioning properly. If one is planning on using this remote and included IR receiver together as intended, I would definitely recommend it. It works very well with WMC, and I haven't found anything wrong with it. It is quick and responsive, and all commands work properly.I'm mainly writing this review for others who were contemplating this purchase for the IR receiver to be used with their Harmony/universal remote. The lag/delay issue can be overcome, but it's going to take a call to logitech level 2 support to correct. For those who are buying this with the intent on using the remote and supplied IR receiver with WMC, I would whole-heartedly recommend it.
