(More customer reviews)I work in IT, so I get to try A LOT of different keyboards. This is, by far, the best keyboard that I have ever had. I got my first Microsoft Natural Elite about 10 years ago and am only now replacing it because I took it apart to clean it and lost the screws. These things last and last. It got a little louder as it aged, but other than that (and being filthy), it was as good as the day I bought it before I disassembled it.

When I first purchased this keyboard, I immediately picked up about 10 words per minute. I type fast (average around 100 words per minute), and I attribute a lot of that to using a comfortable keyboard.

I code a lot and I email a lot, and I can type on this thing for hours without any wrist or hand strain. The only real drawback is that it's ruined other keyboards for me. When I use a standard straight keyboard, I'm now much more aware of just how awkward and uncomfortable it is. When I use any Apple keyboard, for example, my wrists hurt and my hands cramp after a few minutes.

I recommend this keyboard to anybody for whom comfort is a priority. You cannot beat a split ergonomic keyboard. There may be a bit of a learning curve for non touch typists, but the benefit to your body is well worth the investment.

A final note: I prefer this keyboard over the larger "pro" models because I don't need or like the extra keys for multimedia, etc. and this one is a bit smaller. Also, be advised that they Home/End/Delete/Page Up/Page Down/Insert keys and the arrow keys are not arranged in the standard way. I use all of these keys a lot, but the different placement has never been a problem for me.

(More customer reviews)These are nice speakers if you are not expecting a high priced sound from them. These are 2.0 speakers without a seperate base speaker, which is fine with me since I don't use them for serious music. Plus I don't care for a heavy base when I am listing to someone talk.

I use these speakers for my PC. They are way, way better than my monitor speakers and my previous speakers. These are USB 2 powered and turn on and off with the computer. They have a combination volume and on/off switch in top. I never touch the speaker volume or on/off switch. The volume is left on high and I adjust it from my keyboard, and the speaker turns off/on with the PC.

My other speakers had to be pluged into a 110 wall outlet and had a switch on them to turn on and off, which seemed like a hassle every time I turned the PC on or Off.

The sound and tone is good on these speakers for what I use them for. With the volume turned up they are louder than you would normally want in front of your PC. Good speakers with a good sound for the price. Check out Dell daily deals on your browser sometimes they have these for under $10

(More customer reviews)Very versatile and light. The product could be sturdier, but then it would not be as light (portability) or easy to change the setup (versatility). There are several models of this product but I chose A4 because it is 1" wider and it has a rubber pad along the horizontal bottom that touches your laptop. There is another model that has a cooling mechanism (and no rubber pad), but the dual layer setup of this model can take care of the cooling. I was surprised to see the hollow core (that's what "dual layer" means) - for aesthetic reasons a closed edge would look nicer, but this allows heat to escape. Changing the angles is not as quick as I thought since you have to press the button in while simultaneously changing the angle. But this is probably preferable to buttons that pop out, since part of what makes this great is you can actually pack it up and take it places since it's so streamlined. Despite these observations, it's hard to see how they could come up with a better design, all things considered. I hope they have other model wider than 10.5" to fit most laptops from top to bottom (the side-to-side width of 19" is great). The actual flat surface from top to bottom is only 9.75" because the remaining 0.75" is the rubber edge. My laptop is still stable enough on it. One reviewer said the 19" is wide enough to write notes on the side, but I find that doing so takes away some stability. Again, that's the tradeoff of less stability and more lightness. Probably I would prefer a little more stability but still think it's a great product.

Logitech Corded Mouse (M500) Review

Like many Logitech mice, the M500 is ergnomically shaped for comfort and reduced strain/tension.Logitech mice are the most comfortable I have used.You can mouse around for hours with much less strain than when using mice from other manufacturers.

Like Logitech's more recent models, the M500 has a scroll wheel that you can switch between regular scrolling and "hyper scrolling," where you give the wheel a little flick and it scrolls very quickly through huge amounts of data.Once you try this feature, you won't go back to a mouse that doesn't have it.

You can also push the scroll wheel to the left or right for horizontal scrolling.

The M500 also has forward and back buttons within easy reach of the thumb, useful for quickly jumping through website or powerpoint slides.

It is a laser mouse, which is much more precise than the older optical mice.It tracks well on most surfaces I've tried, though of course not on glass (Logitech makes more expensive mice that track well on glass).

There are only two things I'd caution you about before purchasing.First, this mouse is really designed to be used by the right hand only.It's possible to use it with the left hand, but it's not as comfortable, and using the forward/back buttons isn't nearly as practical or easy with the left hand as with the right.

Second, this is a corded mouse.You might prefer cordless.For me, corded mice have advantages:no battery to wear out, no charging cradles, no usb receiver to lose, and I've found that corded mice track better than many cordless mice (though the very newest cordless mice, like Logitech's "Anywhere MX" and "Performance MX" track very, very well).

In summary, if you want a right-handed corded mouse, please give this a try.I've tried many, and this is the only one I'd rate as excellent.It's very very comfortable, it tracks very well, and the hyper-scrolling and other features are very well-thought out and implemented.And it's much cheaper than cordless mice offering the same feature set.

They are also very sensative, and picked up several Wi-Fis in the neighborhood.
My access point is a Motorola wireless cable modem.
They also replace my old wired router, and can transfer data between computers just like the LAN used to do.These cards are a good value for the money, and I don't see how spending more could get you more.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this television as a computer monitor.I wanted it because of the LCD backlight, built in speakers, and large screen, for a computer monitor.When I purchased it my computer had not yet been built so I hooked it up to my cable box and WOW what a great picture!Granted I was coming from an old CRT television but hey this thing was very impressive!It is very customizable and can be set on preset settings as well.It worked great to replace a 1981 circa Magnavox in my bedroom.I used it for a couple of weeks as a television and when my computer came in I switched it to a computer monitor.I had purchased an HDMI cable from AMAZON before my computer arrived.Plugged in the HDMI cable and the power and keyboard and wal-la the picture came on with the sound!No need to configure the system to set up, it just works!Right out of the box.Being an informed consumer I had read that you need to calibrate the screen.Well when the monitor first came on I understood why.Things seemed a little blurry.I set the Veiwsonic to Computer and it helped but this was not yet the solution.I then found in Windows 7 the clear type set up under the control panel and displays.Once you configure to clear type this thing looks great!It is like reading on a piece of paper!Screens and videos look great!I am running Windows 7 64-bit professional.The high resolution high definition screen is very impressive!For me the price was right because I have a computer monitor that can be a television if I want as well.It has three HDMI connections so I can connect another computer, maybe a Mac Mini in the future, and later maybe an X-box 360!You can easily switch with the touch sensitive controls or use the remote.The colors and contrast are really incredible.This television/monitor is a great deal for the money!I caught mine at a good time to purchase because I got it for about twenty-five dollars under three-hundred dollars!If you read these reviews often you will know why I wrote it like that.It runs cool, comes on after a 5 second Viewsonic warm up screen, switches between sources easily, looks great and works like it is supposed to!In short I like this monitor a lot!

To me it rivals the Apple LED Cinema Display.Notice I said rivals not as good as or surpasses!This television is great!It works as a monitor wonderfully!Part of the reason I purchased it is due to the fact that I wanted built in speakers and an HDMI connection.I did not want to have a video cable, power cord, speakers, speaker wire, and another power cord for the speakers forming a web on my desk.This set up is clean and simple.HDMI cable to the back of the computer to the monitor, then everything works.One power cord for the monitor and one for the computer. Simple!I compared it to the Apple Cinema Display because I was thinking of using one of these to connect to my PC.Unfortunately you would need to by the Apple Mini Display video connector to HDMI conversion plug and pray that it would work.I could never get assurances that you could get PC drivers for the camera and I did not find anyone that said that it worked when they connected to a PC.Oh and also to buy the Apple you would need to cough up three times the money!I know the Apple display is IPS has a glass screen (the Viewsonic has the plasticky laptop screen) and a built in video camera.Still this does not make it worth nearly a thousand dollars! I do wish that Viewsonic would place a glass screen on this television; it would move it up in class, and admittedly in cost.I wish they would install a camera on the top of the screen, a good one, like the new ones from Logitech!Then they would have a true Apple competitor!When I looked around for a large screen, LED backlight, High definition monitor, with multiple HDMI connections, and built in speakers the Viewsonic television is the only one I could find this affordably.This is the only monitor, or television, that came close to the Apple Display, and after purchasing it and using it as both a television and a monitor, I feel that it has lived up to its printed specifications and my expectations!Buy one I think you will agree!

One more thing; I purchased this through Amazon along with another item through J&R Audio.I had to return the other item after purchasing it.I could not have had a better experience from the folks at J&R Music.They were kind, helpful, and did everything they said that they would do and even faster than they said they would do it.It is rare these days to find a company that under promises and over delivers and I feel these folks did.I am always leery of ordering from a reseller and these folks gave me confidence!

(More customer reviews)For someone who listens almost exclusively to classical music, I would recommend these reasonably priced speakers to listeners who do not need the exaggerated base response one hears in rock and rap music. {That may not be entirely fair to these musical genres but it sounds that way to me as cars broadcasting this music pass my way}.

The speakers have very good stereo separation, especially when one is sitting at a desk.But even when one is elsewhere in the room, the sound is quite convincing.For someone like myself who is mechanically and technically challenged, setting the speakers up was without frustration and despair.The speakers have the added advantage of taking up relatively little space and are, at least for my aesthetic sensibilities, rather attractive.

If you're like me, it getting pretty old moving huge scanned pictures and other large files around the home LAN. At 10 megabits, it typically took me 20-30 minutes to get a CDR worth of scanned images over to my CDR writing machine for backup. Well, not any more!
Since I hooked up my FS-108, I can move a CDR worth of images or MP3 files (650 megs worth) in about 3-4 minutes instead of that 20-30.
This switch is a piece of art. Built like a tank, incredibly solid and small for what it does. No fan, so it makes no noise whatsoever. The switch hooked up painlessly and worked flawlessly from the get-go.

I use it for my 13" MacBook Pro.One of my initial concerns was whether it would still hold my MBP since I have the Speck hardshell cover on it.Fortunately, it comes with three different silicone inserts for the stand and I'm using the largest one without any difficulty at all.

Put simply, it is a great stand and well worth the price I paid for it.

(More customer reviews)I recently got a ream of this paper as a promotional item at a local store; and I am very impressed. In fact, this multipurpose 96 brightness paper by Hewlett Packard gives you something to sing about! I use this paper with my inkjet printers; and I can use it to make signs to tape to my front door indicating to delivery people which doorbell to ring!

The paper is not expensive for all that you get; and it almost never jams in my printer at home. Nevertheless, I always fan the paper to make sure that it doesn't jam. After I fan the paper to make sure two pieces of paper aren't stuck to each other, then I place it in my inkjet printer.

In addition, this paper can also be used in laser printers, copiers and plain paper fax machine. Each page is a clean cut 8 ? inches by 11 inches. Great!

This paper never "goes stale," so stock up on it if you can catch a sale on it. Moreover, this is excellent paper that avoids ink from smearing as it is printed on the page. Great!

I don't know what to say about the Amazon price--as of this writing it states that this one ream package costs $12.88. This is either a misprint or maybe you get more than one package for that price; Amazon fails to clarify this. Obviously, however, you shouldn't be paying $12.88 for a single ream of paper. The price may be a misprint or it may be for more than one package; I cannot be sure. Sorry!

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my wife and grandson 5 months ago, I waited to actually give it a fair test period.It has not not given either of them an ounce of problem.It is very reliable and data transfer speed is quick.My wife had a PNY, and it was OK, but it does not compare to the Kingston.

The only drawback is the hole in the end, it is very tiny.I had to purchase a very thin key ring to put on it so they could attach a strap to it.

It never jams on a good tape. It's perfect at what it does.

Being an audiobook lover I use it to listen to my books around the house and it has had a lot of use!
Unlike units that have CD players, the tape is the focus, not an afterthought.
Also, it's far superior to tape units that switch sides for you, because they often switch sides at the least resistance, not necessarily the end of the tape.
In summation, this is the tape audiobook listener's friend for reliable, no trouble, listening for hours and hours and years to come..
