I knew I needed some type of wrist cushion to modify the way my I typed, so I went ahead and purchased this product. Great decision. The wrist rest arches your wrist, so that your fingers come down over the top of the keyboard, instead of having your wrist lie flat on the laptop itself (which is a very unnatural position). It has made typing much more comfortable, and has alleviated my wrist pain completely. Goodbye, carpal tunnel.. hello comfort!
