(More customer reviews)This board just works.Installation was a breeze, so much so that I talked a 15 year old through the procedure over the phone (this board was sent to the son of a friend of mine as a rebuild after his Asus mainboard went belly up).
Expandable and stable.The driver install was a total non-event in terms of complexity.
Two things to be aware of, however.
First, this mainboard does not come with mounting screws (although I expect none do).If you don't already have screws, you may wish to purchase them.
Second, and more importantly, be aware that the D915GAV does NOT have onboard LAN support.You must order D915GAVL if you want onboard LAN.Sadly, Intel's documentation is not very clear on this point.However, this seller was absolutely exemplary in changing my order to the D915GAVL once I discovered my mistake.They were very willing to work with me, and I give them 5 stars as well for going the extra mile for me.
