Wow, I'm impressed. I tinker with computers part time as a hobby, and I had outgrown my old case. I needed more room, and a larger, newer power supply. Then I found this.

So heres some details, as the product description is sketchy.

This case is manufactured by Apex Computer Technology, Google it, they have a nice website with good information.

The power supply features the following...

300 Watt Max Output
(1) 80mm Cooling Fan (Temp Controlled)
(1) 20+4 Motherboard Connector
(4) 4-pin Molex Acessory Connectors
(1) 4-pin Floppy Connector
(1) 4-pin Intel Processor/Motherboard Connector

My case came with a different power supply than the one listed on the Apex website, but I was shopping by wattage, and it was still 300 Watts, so its all good to me.

The case itself comes well outfitted for the price, featuring the following...

(1) Installed 80mm exhaust fan (in addition to power supply fan, this space WILL acommodate a 90mm fan as well)
(1) Bag of misc. hardware (card brackets, TONS of extra screws, and motherboard spacers/standoffs)
(4) 5.25" External Bays (for cd-drives, etc.)
(2) 3.5" External Bays (for floppy, etc.)
(5) 5.25" Internal Bays (for hard drives, etc.)
(8) AGP/PCI Expansion Slots
(1) Removable Motherboard Face
(2) Green Power LED's
(1) Red Hard Drive Activity LED
(2) External Front Mounted USB Ports (with nice hideaway cover)
(1) Pair Front Mounted Audio Connections (also behind the USB cover)
(1) Extra 80/90mm front Fan Mount
(1) CPU Fan Tunnel (Adjustable!)
(1) VGA Vent (for your video card!)

Advise, this case IS NOT tooless, make sure you have a phillips screwdriver handy... hehe :)

Both sides of the case are removable, allowing FULL access. Front cover snaps off with 6 quick release tabs.

My setup...

Asus full size ATX Motherboard
Samsung DVD Drive
Samsung CD Drive
250GB Drive
40GB Drive
Nvdia Graphics Card
Belkin Wireless Card
Sound Blaster Card
90mm Rear Fan (fit without modification)
80mm Front Fan (fit without modification)
120mm Side Fan (custom mounted by me WITH modification)

As I said, I needed more room for all my junk, and my old power supply was starting to deliver weak voltage, which was slightly hurting performance and overheating. This product solved ALL my problems for a VERY reasonable price. If you are mechanically inclined, and like to tinker, THIS IS AWESOME!!! This case allowed me to drop my CPU Temp by 2C and Graphics Card Temp by 2C. Mainly because there is more space inside versus the old case, which was a WalMart EMachines computer.

I am an Amazon Prime member, so I ordered on a Friday, received on Monday.

Excellent Buy! Cant go wrong, I'd order it again ANY DAY!!!

Peace guys!

ASUS Wireless Eee Keyboard and Mouse Set - Black Review

ASUS Wireless Eee Keyboard and Mouse Set - Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I recently bought a large monitor to use in lieu of my laptop LCD screen, and needed a keyboard/mouse to complete my set up.I was looking for something that was form-factor, would look pretty on my desk, was wireless, simple, and works well.I looked at a number of different keyboards (HP elite, microsoft arc, rocketfish, adesso, logitech), and this was the only one that seemed to fit allof my qualifications. The HP, rocketfish, adesso, logitech ones had too much going on (numeric keypad, shortcut keys, etc - who needs em?), and the MS arc one had a strange cursor set up that i knew I would find irritating.

Pros:
- Small (thin, light)
- Easy set up (put in batteries, plugged in dongle, win7 did the rest!)
- Attractive (has 'chiclet' style keys and a piano black finish to the rest of the keyboard/mouse)
- Simple (no 'unnecessary' features)

Cons:
- Spacebar sometimes unresponsive (same issue I have with my Asus laptop - even as I'm writing this review I'm finding that although I'm hitting the spacebar, it doesn't always register unless I hit it pretty forcefully)
- No Bluetooth (bluetooth would be easier since no additional dongle or anything would be necessary for me)
- USB Dongle a bit large (I have another wireless mouse from MS with a dongle roughly an inch long, whereas this one is the size of your typical USB flash drive)
- No 'on/off' button (when not in use, I'm not sure whether it's eating up the battery or goes on some kind of standby. An on-off switch would make it easier to know and save battery power)
- Lack of internal 'storage area' for USB dongle (again, my MS wireless mouse has a little place on it to store the dongle when not in use, so you don't have to worry about losing it.This product would be well-served by a similar feature)
- Volume controls(you can control volume by pressing Fn+F10/11/12, however, dedicated volume control buttons would be easier)

-----

Update:I found a 'fix' for the spacebar issue on this forum: [...].I tried it out (using 5-6 layers of tiny square cut-outs of tape instead of the epoxy glue) and the spacebar now works perfectly!!

Microsoft Wired Natural Keyboard Elite Win PS2/USB English North America Black Review

Microsoft Wired Natural Keyboard Elite Win PS2/USB English North America Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I work in IT, so I get to try A LOT of different keyboards. This is, by far, the best keyboard that I have ever had. I got my first Microsoft Natural Elite about 10 years ago and am only now replacing it because I took it apart to clean it and lost the screws. These things last and last. It got a little louder as it aged, but other than that (and being filthy), it was as good as the day I bought it before I disassembled it.

When I first purchased this keyboard, I immediately picked up about 10 words per minute. I type fast (average around 100 words per minute), and I attribute a lot of that to using a comfortable keyboard.

I code a lot and I email a lot, and I can type on this thing for hours without any wrist or hand strain. The only real drawback is that it's ruined other keyboards for me. When I use a standard straight keyboard, I'm now much more aware of just how awkward and uncomfortable it is. When I use any Apple keyboard, for example, my wrists hurt and my hands cramp after a few minutes.

I recommend this keyboard to anybody for whom comfort is a priority. You cannot beat a split ergonomic keyboard. There may be a bit of a learning curve for non touch typists, but the benefit to your body is well worth the investment.

A final note: I prefer this keyboard over the larger "pro" models because I don't need or like the extra keys for multimedia, etc. and this one is a bit smaller. Also, be advised that they Home/End/Delete/Page Up/Page Down/Insert keys and the arrow keys are not arranged in the standard way. I use all of these keys a lot, but the different placement has never been a problem for me.

Got this case to do a partial upgrade...due to heat issues with a bargain case which looked good...but had few ways to cool the components.Saw this on Amazon & other websites...read the specs & reviews of others & I was hooked.

The only thing the reviews did not mention was to clean the front panel air filters...the best things to have are either canned air or a hair dryer. This way you can blow them out from the inside & snap the front back onto the whole case.

Cooler Master Elite 341 m-ATX Mini Tower Case Black - (RC-341C-KKN1-GP) Review

Cooler Master Elite 341 m-ATX Mini Tower Case Black -

This box is a good, inexpensive Micro ATX box. It comes with enough directions and parts that someone who doesn't build computers for a living can put it together. It also comes with a quiet fan. There are no rough edges inside and everything fits. Yes, it is a little tight in there and 2nd hard drive placement may require some longer wires, but that was not an issue for me. Most of the smaller boxes that I looked at did not have room for a second hard drive, a second optical drive and full sized cards. This one did, which is why I bought it. Nothing fancy here, just a good basic box.

HP Wireless Elite Keyboard Review

HP Wireless Elite Keyboard
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Picked up one of these yesterday and so far I'm loving it.It's quiet, the key feel isn't bad, the key layout is good (like the enlarged Delete key), and some of the special keys (like the volume control) work even though I haven't bothered to install HP's software (yet, anyhow).

Wireless range is sufficient for my needs. The little USB fob plugged right into my existing USB hub and was recognized by my system instantly without having to load any drivers.Neat!

I love the look of the keyboard, and it's very small without a ton of useless plastic around the edges - just a narrow border about half an inch wide.I was using an older wired USB Apple keyboard with my PC before this - one with white keys and a transparent body - which I chose because it didn't waste a ton of desk space.I'm not sure why manufacturers feel they have to surround their keyboards with an idiotic ocean of useless plastic.Until now, Apple seemed to be one of the few manufacturers who realized that it's not only unnecessary, but also really ugly.

I was never entirely happy with the key feel of the Apple though, and it collected dirt (and cat hair) like nobody's business. And I wanted a wireless keyboard so I could remove it from the desk entirely when I needed the space. This keyboard isn't much larger (same width, about an inch deeper), but doesn't suffer from the same . . . hygiene issues, and the keyfeel is much better.

According to everything I've read the batteries (which it comes with a set of already installed) should last for about a year, at which time I'll probably replace them with rechargeables.

It's a little spendy, and it isn't quite as space-saving as Apple's old design, but given its looks and performance I'd recommend it.
