(More customer reviews)This product is so fragile. The user forums on Iomega's website are filled with people whose Iomega hard drives are broken from the tiniest actions. If you move the hard drive while it is on, it will erase all your memory! If you unplug the hard drive while it is on, even just once by accident, it will be erased! I happened to drop the power cord from a distance of three feet, and now it wont turn back on. The product will only work with the exact same cord which costs $20 + shipping from Iomega.

Also, I want to warn you about their HORRIBLE customer service! You have two options. Only if your product is under warranty, they will let you use the chat room to talk to a technician. I have waited over 6 hours total, and no one has answered! The other option is to call for support. This costs $25 dollars, even though I just want to ask asimple question, and my product is still under warranty!

Overall, this product seemed like it was great, but according to other people on the forums, and my own experience, it is just too fragile. On top of that, the customer service is so rude, and uncaring, that I will never buy from Iomega again!

(More customer reviews)We take a lot of pictures, but I can't convince my wife to move to a digital camera.That leaves me with the problem of getting all of our snap-shots posted on our webpage.I have a regular full-size flat bed scanner, but I hated scanning pictures with it because it took forever to do each picture, it did not have one-button scan and also took up a ton of desk space.I started exploring for a small photo scanner.I found this scanner and one from photoscanner... Both are small.The HP is only 300x300dpi where the photoscanner... one is 600x1200 dpi.However, the photoscanner...one is $[money]and the HP is only $[money].I choose the HP and have been very happy.It is quick and provides nice quality for webpages, but not great printable quality.However, if you need a photo scanner to scan photos AND PRINT THEM, I would suggest that get something else. Again, if you just need to post to the web or email them, this is going to be just fine.
