(More customer reviews)I have a laptop and new desk top, my son has a desktop of his own.I've been wanting this type of cable for some time but "Worst Buy" wanted $45 for a similiar unit.So for a long time I had been transfering via 4 or 8GB usb drives, which is ok but not nearly as fast as this thing! I transfered 20gb of mp3 music [windows media] from laptop [vista] to son's desktop [windows 7] in about 5 minutes...NO joke! It worked so fast that I thought it did not work at first.It is basically plug 'n play.I set it up, dropped 'n dragged entire music file and walked away.My son was in his room watching TV and told me it was done and at first I thought he was nuts.Amazon comes thru again with best price, no tax, free ship and a great product.Definitely worth getting is you want to move large data, media or picture files.
