It's a huge time saver for doing manual bank, credit card reconciliations, etc. Not sure why local office supply stores don't carry them any longer? Everyone I'm trainingwants one, so I buy this one for resale. I prefer this one because it's a stand-alone; has a dark background so white paper stands out; the slider works well; it's cheap, and lightweight.
