If you buy a 8054 router, and get a USR wirelesscard, the only way to get the two talking is with thisaerial/antenna. It is absolutely brilliant; only 3COMcould save the functionality of a USRturkey. And do notexpect Tech Service to help... they willtry and sell you on a 90 dollar item. Totally worth itsweight in bandwidth, and it works up to 125 MBPS.
The rather significant caveat emptor about this antennais that if you buy a card , router or anything elseother than a USRobotics item, then throw this item out, or bronze it...
Linksys is now so technically superior to USR in this area of the market, thanks to CISCO, that anything USR related is just a waste of cash; however, LINKSYSis as compatible as the advanced technology they use will allow. USRneeds to either redo their line of products, or go back to what they do best ... modems, and etc.
