(More customer reviews)After having carefully shopped for a 17 inch flat panel display since Christmas, the moment I saw this one I knew it was what I had been looking for.I upgraded to a new computer last week, but as much as I am an HP junkie, I could not buy their second rate flat panel in good conscience.I had originally wanted one with built-in speakers, but when I got a look at the clarity and brightness (500:1 contrast ratio) of this new model, I quickly changed my mind.It is an incredible value for the money, and the rebate currently offered by Sony makes the deal even sweeter.I am convinced that this model is by far the best flat panel in its class and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone.
