(More customer reviews)This is a non-reference version of HD 5850. The reference version (HD585AZNFC) has the fan at the end. This one has fan in the middle. The Core voltage control is disabled in this version. I purchased this card from JR through amazon.com and at that time model no. was not mentioned in the title and they were displaying the reference version image for this card. Make sure to check the model no. (HD585XZAFC is non-ref version, HD585AZNFC is ref version) before deciding and not just the image displayed. The ref version usually comes with Dirt2 coupon but this one does not.

Performance of this card is excellent. Played NFS Shift at 1920*1080 with max settings and average FPS were 55 (After applying patch 1.02). Dirt2 averages 70 FPS, GRID averages 78, Tombraider Underworld averages 70 at max settings and 1920*1080 resolution.

Great value for money. This is the best card for price around 300(as mentioned in "Best Graphics Cards For The Money: May 2010" review at [...]. This card is a little over 10" in length (XFX states it at 9.5") so make sure you have enough space. Two 6 pin power connectors are required from power supply. It comes with double lifetime warranty which gives peace of mind. Make sure to register in 30 days from purchase otherwise the warranty will be reduced to just 1 year.

At base voltage and clock this card is at par with its ref version. Performance might suffer at very high clocks since extreme clocks can't be achieved without voltage control. The ref version is a bit expensive also. Overall I am happy with this purchase since I am not into overclocking. This card has enough power to play available games at max settings so overclocking is not needed.

I know a PC depends on other factors but as far as speed and performance goes this is the best processor I've used.I'm not an engineer but I cant tell you that this Athlon delivers. This would be the first AMD I ever used. Definitely not the last. I think the CPU Intensive jobs are handled rather well. THe die hard 512KB cache system peaks when converting DVD format to Divx. Its a swift really. On doing the same test on a 2 GHZ Intel and it seems this particular processor tops my expectations. It did an average of 75 Frame Rate Per second conversion while Intel topped out at 64. For the price of this processor I suggest everyone and anyone looking for a great gaming and PC working experience to go ahead and buy this.

(More customer reviews)I have been using this memory for a couple of months now - no problems - in case there is still any debate about 2GB RAM being supported in emac, the answer is yes (at least it is in this 1.42 superdrive model), 2GB RAM is recognized in the system profiler - received order in 3 business days - i purchased this RAM on July 12th, 2007 for $128.63 which i thought was a bargain - today, Sept. 19th, 2007, the price is $115.19 - if you don't have to have it right away, you might want to wait and see how much it goes down - i purchased mine directly from this page from Crucial Tech. - they are a well respected company that is known for standing behind it's products.

(More customer reviews)I recently have built a AMD quad core win 7 machine this hd was not quite what i expected what it was going to be as it lasted only a month before it started to loose its integrity I rma it to the seller and they replaced it with a newer model so as far as the seller I gave it a 4 as far as the drive it was defective from the beginning and I expect to much maybe but the quality of the hd they make now are very poor as its just like everything else no quality control and the drive has a great warranty but definitely is on the lower end of the recent hd that i have used but I will give the new drive a chance and we will see how it does compared to all my other drives its just a matter of you get what you pay for (SOMETIMES)I will update this after i instal the new drive and let my opium stand then but as far as this drive goes spend a little more money and get a better drive I hope this helps some of you as I surely dislike the hassle of having to rely on a hd and have it fail so fast I do computer repair and IMHO all the drives made now are just laking the quality they had several years ago everyone is cutting corners as far as cost and it doesn't make sense to have to go through the hassle of reformatting every other month I hope this will help someone else out there to avoid the problems i have encountered

(More customer reviews)My plan was to buy a large drive to backup up my computers and store it in a safety deposit box.After reviewing the unhappy user reports of the newer perpendicular technology disks, I decided to go with the older tried and true technology. The Seagate website lists the current three generations of this size disk: 7200.9, 7200.10 and 7200.11.Generations 10 and 11 are the new perpendicular storage technology.

The particular part number I ordered, ST3500641A, is listed on the Seagate website as the 500GB 7200.9 generation.The part number on the retail box that I received is the same.However, the disk inside lists its part number as ST3500630A.When installed, the disk itself reports its part number as ST3500630A.The Seagate website indicates that this is the 7200.10 generation disk which has different specifications than the 7200.9.

Sadly, what I got is the least desired disk of the three.If I had no other choice but the perpendicular storage generations, it would be better to get the second generation of the perpendicular storage technology: the 7200.11 disk.

Almost two weeks later I got an email from Amazon that they had not received confirmation from the seller that the item had shipped. After contacting the seller I got a reply that they canceled my order because the last drive they had in stock was "defective". The drive on Amazon was labeled as NEW so, unless the drive had physical damage I don't know how they would have determined that it was defective. So I wasted two weeks waiting for an item that I will now have to reorder from someone else. Since the order was canceled, Amazon removed all record of the transaction from my order history and I was not able to leave seller feedback which is why I wrote this review here.

(More customer reviews)I bought this printer to make double-sided printouts of order forms, and I am very pleased with its performance. The print quality is clear and even, the machine is very reliable even though I printed over 25,000 sheets on it the first week.

Cons: the paper sometimes gets jammed as it feeds from the tray, and even when you fix the problem and hit the green "okay" button to continue printing, it continues to register a problem until you cancel the job and shut down the printer. Also, the initial toner cartridge does not last very long, it's only good for about 1,000 sheets. The extended life toner cartridges are much better but are pricey at $130 each.

Overall a good machine and worth the money, the double-sided printing feature is a very nice bonus.

(More customer reviews)This Sharp EL-1750P is a pretty great printing calculator for the price.I needed one for my new job and didn't want to spend a lot, so this is what I got.The only thing that I didn't like about this calculator is that to subract one number from another, you have to press the number, then the plus sign, then the other number, then the minus sign.I don't know if this is how all of these types of calculators are or not, since this is the only one like this that I have ever used... but pressing the addition symbol to subract seemed a little weird to me.I am used to it now, but I tend to get frustrated using a regular calculator at home that actually adds everything when you hit the addition sign!Other than that, I am satisfied with the 18.99 I spent on it.

HP iPAQ 4150 Pocket PC Review

(More customer reviews)I have had this IPAQ for several years now and it has more than served its purpose for me. Just recently however I wanted to add more memory to it and went to Staples to buy a 4 GIG SDHC. When I inserted the card into the unit,it still had the same amount of memory as before. (You can check this by clicking on SETTINGS/System/Memory and then click on STORAGE CARD.) So I called up HP and after they checked their records, they told me that that this unit can only take up to 512MB !! I was then put thru to their parts department and asked if they even made 512MB SD cards anymore. They said no they didn't, but that it could be specially ordered for only $228!! For that amount of money I could easily buy another unit, forget the card. I couldn't believe it. So I researched online and found a user who was using a 4 GIG SD card in his IPAQ 4150 with no problems. I read that since the Windows Mobile 2003 runs with FAT32, there should be no reason why it can't handle SD cards with 2 gig,4 gig, etc., when you need that extra memory. The only difference was that you have to use a NON SDHC card. The HC stands for High capacity which uses a different architecture. So, you have to use the standard 4 GIG SD card without the HC on the label. I ran back to Staples and found a 2 GIG standard SD card from SanDisk (they didn't have the higher 4 GIG on the shelf or I would've bought that one) for only $14.99 plus tax and when I inserted the card in the unit, it showed the increase in memory just fine! I wanted to pass this along so that you don't get discouraged when you need that extra amount of memory and are told that it can't be done. I'm still cringing at the thought of buying only 512 MB of memory for $228! It's unbelievable what people will try to con you into. In any case, this has nothing to do with the unit itself. I am now a very happy camper indeed!
