(More customer reviews)This is one of the newest switches on the market, designed in 2009. It works reliably and does not hang like cheaper switches. I was looking for a switch with minimal latency and this one was the fastest (as of August 2010) from all 8-port gigabit switches available on the market, with 1000 Mb Latency of less than 1.2 micro-seconds. It supports for up to 9216-byte Jumbo frames and IEEE 802.1p prioritization QoS. It is silent and the metallic casing is only slightly warm, this is what I liked most. The only drawback is that it came with very bulky power supply which is not embedded into a plug but is a separate unit which connects to the plug by a wire.
