(More customer reviews)I upgraded my Compaq system with this new processor and have been very satisfied with the purchase.The new processor comes with the cooling fan which was a surprise to me.If you're looking to simply upgrade a little older system to a faster processor I'd recommend you check with the manufacture web site to see if this is compatible and then simply do it.Very easy to swap the processors and you'll be glad you did.I'd also recommend you upgrade your RAM.These two things will really give you the faster system you're looking for.
