(More customer reviews)Ordered this over the phone directly from LaCie for my Desktop d2 Quadra 500GB LaCie External Hard Drive.Sales associate assured me it would fit.It doesn't.The hard drive is 6.8" x 6.3" x 1.7" but the 3.5 case (internal dimensions) is 9.1" x 5.7" (too narrow) x 2".It's a nice case, but you have to really stretch it out of shape to use with this hard drive - measure and order with care (and maybe take the LaCie sales rep's assurances with a grain of salt)!
