(More customer reviews)What's the reason people install more RAM?The need for more speed!And that's just what Kingston Technologies 1GB DDR SDRAM Desktop Memory does.I only had 256 MB RAM on my desktop even though it is a 2.2 ghz. and after awhile, I had to install a RAM booster, and even then, my system ran slow.Now, my computer runs faster than when it was new! The memory module is easy enough to install (even though I had to reinstall it about 5 times - make sure it snaps into place tightly!), and your system should recognize the additional RAM immediately upon booting up.

The components on the module include sixteen 32M x 8-bit (8M x 8-bit x 4 Bank) DDR400 SDRAM in TSOP packages. This 184-pin DIMM uses gold contact fingers and requires +2.6V. The product is shipped in retail packaging and includes installation instructions.
