Worked fine the first 6 month, then one module begun to fail, in fact wasn`t bad but create itself an in-compatibility with the MSI K9N2 sli platinum. Had a lot of BSOD, crashes etc. This module worked fine with one of my friend`s Asrock mobo but still failed with the MSI.
This Patriot is really great 4-4-4-12-21 / 2T / 2.1V, has Win7 7.0 average in the windows experience and I`m so happy with it.
All problems gone with the wind. Haven't a single crash in months.

P.S.(27.01.2010) Just upgrade my processor AMD 5400+ with the Phenom II 720 x3 Black Edition. I push it a little up to 3.2Ghz (200x16) and run fine between 30-40

(More customer reviews)I needed a compact flash to cover industrial operating temperature range -40C to +85C and able to run OS like Windows XP perfectly. The minimium requirement to run OS on compact flash is UDMA. But not all compact flash with UDMA can run OS with no complication. I had tried Lexar Professional 8GB 300x. It installed XP ok but it did not run smoothly. Error popup here and there. After I did more research, I found Transcend TS8GCF100I. After Lexar failed, I was not sure what to expect. To my amaze, TS8GCF100I ran perfectly without hiccup. Then I ran it through temperature and damp heat tests. All were ok. It has been running for 3 to 4 months now and no issue has been found. I am planning to make TS8GCF100I a standard installation for our APP-601 recorder. The 16GB TS16GCF100I would be nice upgrade if more memory is needed.

(More customer reviews)I recently purchased the 32 GB Patriot thumb drive and have been very happy with it. I work in video animation and web design and have found the drive to be very fast - even with large size file loads or loads with a large number of files. I've read some other complaints about the load speed of the drive but haven't noticed them myself. Perhaps the people complaining about the load speed weren't using a USB 2.0 port or they were simply being overly scientific about it.

Upon opening the drive from its packaging I inserted it into my USB drive right away and both my Vista machine and my Windows XP machine recognized it immediately. There was no formatting or configuration required. I'm not sure how it would react to a Mac.

My biggest concern with a drive like this is losing the cap. For example, if you put the drive on your keychain and stick it in your pocket the cap will eventually come off of the drive in your pocket, or while you take your keychain out of your pocket, or while the drive hangs from your vehicle's ignition. It's also common, at least for me, to forget where I put the caps. In consideration of a potential future lost cap I emailed the manufacturer's customer service department and asked them for extra caps and I received 2 additional caps about two weeks later free of charge. To me, that's customer service.

Overall the drive seems reasonably rugged. It's encased in rubber so I suspect that's what the manufacturer was going for. I'll modify this post if the drive ever craps out on me but for now I'm very satisfied with it - especially when compared to other thumb drives I've owned.

(More customer reviews)First let me say that OCZ makes decent reliable Ram and these are no different.

The Heat sinks are more for decoration than function as cited from various reviews on the net. Those who have a cramped area around their memory slots may want to pass on this ram as the sinks can really get in the way of things since it makes them more or less double the height.

Performance wise they are average and on par with most DDR2 800MHZ on the market.

Overall they work as they should and may look cool in a custom case but the Heat Pipe is worthless for cooling so buy for the look not the cooling.

3 Stars for being space hogs.

Memory actually shows up as 800MHz in system bios but that can be easily fixed via manual settings. PC2-8500 is actually OC'ed PC2-6400 that is tested to run stable at 1066 MHz. I have used all brands of memory in many system builds and Corsair is one of my favorites. Corsair has an awesome support team....one of the best!

(More customer reviews)When I built my new PC a few months back this memory was very expensive so I went with decent 800mhz ddr2 non SLI compliant. I was sad when I ran the service score and every aspect of the PC was at 5.9 excelt memory which was at 4.3. After installing this memory and changing the settings in the bios I was able to get to a 5.7. Since some of the software I run does not work well with a 64 bit system OS I need to stick with 4gigs. The memory its self is outstanding. I am fairly sure if I overclock it (currently at 0% OC) I would get a 5.9 (max score). Since Vista is a memory hog this is a plus. I may even need to try it on my xp pro and linux systems later to see how well it works (or doesnt).

(More customer reviews)Well, I have to give it to Mushkin, this memory is rock solid and high quality, however, Amazon failed to note how this particular memory MUST have 2mm space between each memory slot for this memory to fit beside one another (Mushkin product page states this). Luckily I only bought two modules so as not needing to place them side by side in my dual channel set up on my mobo (4 slots). If I go for more modules I'm going to need to find some really skinny ones to fit next to these HUGE monster heat sinks. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU REALIZE THE SPACING REQUIREMENTS FOR THESE!

(More customer reviews)Timing for this RAM runs by default on my MSI K9A2 Platinum at 5-5-5-12; once I changed the timing to the advertised 4-4-4-12 setting it ran for 31 hours under a stress test with zero errors.On this mobo with an Athlon64 X2 6400+, ASUS HD 3870 graphics card and a Razer Barracuda AC-1 Gamer sound card this memory runs everything I throw at it and then some.Worth the price, just make sure you know how to change the timing in the BIOS before you purchase; if you don't, it's easy, just Google it and you'll be set for very fast and stable performance from this memory.
